Alec Lowe is a self taught drummer who started at age 12.

Alec fell in love, and by 14 he had thousands of hours of practice under his belt, and was touring internationally while already teaching his own drum lessons.

By learning drums himself, he was able to avoid the boring classical pitfalls of most private lesson teachers. With his own teaching method, Alec is able to keep students, on average, far more engaged. Coupled with over 16 years of teaching experience, Alec knows how to respond to students' needs.

Aside from teaching, he has spent years from an early age in recording studios and touring with 50+ artists such as Tanner Adell, Madilyn Paige, Lexi Walker, Jessica Baio, Heilung, Shrink the Giant, and Among Wolves.

Alec has played in orchestras, marching bands, he knows how to win college scholarship auditions, and he holds a degree in music composition. He currently composes for commercials in his own recording studio for his label at Warner-Chappell. His compositions have been played regularly on NBC and the NBA.
